Dr Vincent Dubois, a practising Glaucoma Surgeon, joined iSTAR Medical in March 2026 to oversee safety and for medical oversight within the Medical Affairs department.
Dr Vincent Dubois is a consultant ophthalmologist based in the UK. He joined iSTAR Medical in early 2026 to bring his extensive knowledge in the glaucoma surgery sector to MINIject, while continuing to treat public and private patients with cataract and/ or glaucoma.
Vincent graduated from the University of London in 1999 (St. George’s Hospital), then carried out his ophthalmology training in Northwest UK, before taking up a glaucoma fellowship in the Sydney Eye Hospital, Australia.
Subsequently, he took up the glaucoma lead position in Aintree hospital, Liverpool, where he has worked ever since developing extensive experience in minimally-invasive glaucoma surgeries, alongside penetrating and non-penetrating glaucoma surgery. He has been the principal investigator and national chief investigator on industry-led trials. Additionally, he has built a busy private practice. The synergies that these 3 arms to his practice bring make him an important member of the iSTAR Medical team where he can contribute medical, surgical and research insights to the company.
