MINIject presented at MIGS Symposium 2021

MINIjectTM, iSTAR Medical’s minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) device, will be presented in two lectures at the upcoming MIGS Symposium 2021 on Saturday, 17th April from 11:00AM to 2:30PM CET.

Dr Karsten Klabe will discuss the MINIject device and promising clinical results to-date in the session on “suprachoroidal implants”. MINIject takes advantage of the suprachoroidal space as a powerful route to reduce intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with glaucoma.

Dr Klabe will also give the lecture on “MIGS Pipeline: What does the future hold?”, and will discuss MINIject’s future prospects. iSTAR Medical is currently identifying selected centres in Europe to be part of the initial commercial launch of MINIject in Q4 2021.

The MIGS Symposium is an online event, live from Berlin, where medical experts will provide information on indications, patient selection, surgical technique, and follow-up care for all common procedures of MIGS. The symposium will be in German with simultaneous translation to English. Doctors, specialists and students can register for free here: http://www.eyefox.com/migs2021.
